Savanna Safari Adventures Explore Botswana safari with Us

9 days-8 nights Botswana Safari tour

Experience Botswana’s most iconic safari regions in just 9 days with this fully guided fly-in adventure. From the elephant-rich banks of Chobe to the water-filled Okavango Delta and the desert plains of Nxai Pan or the Kalahari, this itinerary brings together the best of Botswana.

Choose from three accommodation options—Classic, Comfort, or Value—to suit your style and budget. All safaris include scheduled charter flights, daily guided activities, meals, and immersive wilderness stays.

As per your request, we have prepared a few safari options for you to choose from. We have considered your interests, park attractions, safari season, and safari rates in Botswana. We are suggesting a lodge-based safari that is ideal for the month of February.

This safari will start in Chobe (Kasane Airport) and end in Maun Airport. However, you may choose to arrive via Victoria Falls, which is only 80 km from Chobe. You could also spend 1 or 2 nights at Victoria Falls before starting the safari. This is because Victoria Falls Airport offers more direct flight connections than Kasane or Maun Airport.

Please note that we are very flexible. Feel free to share any suggestions or request itinerary adjustments.

Here are some safari options:

Option 01: These are fly-in safari packages to permanent lodges. You will visit Chobe, Khwai, or Moremi, the Okavango Delta, and Nxai Pan or the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. The three options are similar, with the main difference being the lodge category.

  • Option 01 features classic camps.
  • Options 02 and 03 feature standard camps, offering great value for money.

🗺️ Accommodation

Chobe River Front

The northern edge of Chobe National Park, which is well-known for its varied and plentiful game viewing opportunities, is formed by the Chobe River. A visit to the Chobe River Front ensures up-close encounters with a variety of African wildlife. This area of the park is most famous for its dense concentration of wildlife, which includes populations of elephants and hippo. However, the waters also draw a variety of game, including large herds of buffalo and the lions that hunt them. Motorboat cruises, rare birdwatching, and 4WD along the banks are just a few of the thrilling activities that visitors can anticipate. Hire a houseboat for a distinctive, opulent safari experience.

Moremi Game Reserve

Moremi Game Reserve, which is in the east of the Okavango Delta, is one of the most beautiful reserves in Africa.

It covers more than 4871 square kilometers of untouched wilderness, with a wide range of landscapes, including savannah, winding rivers, and thick forests. The ecosystem is home to a huge range of animals, from huge herds of buffalo, wildebeest, and zebra to the rare sitatunga and lechwe antelope, lions, cheetahs, and packs of wild dogs in the open grasslands. There are a lot of birds here, and most of the 550 species on Botswana’s national bird list can be found here. There are a number of high-end lodges in the reserve that make it easy for visitors to explore this beautiful area.

Okavango Delta

The Okavango Delta is the largest inland delta in the world and is located in the northwestern part of Botswana. It is a World Heritage Site. The beautiful Okavango River flows through the dry sands of the Kalahari Desert, creating this lush oasis with many winding waterways and clear lagoons filled with water lilies. There are also fertile floodplains and reed-covered islands that are home to a lot of wildlife. The Okavango Delta covers an impressive 15,000 square kilometers. People who come here can do a lot of fun things, like see animals, fish, watch birds, or go on a real guided Mokoro trip through this wetland paradise in a traditional dugout canoe. You can often see lions, rhinos, leopards, giraffes, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and a lot of different kinds of birds.

Boteti River - Makgadikgadi Pans National Park

North-eastern The Boteti River in Botswana’s Makgadikgadi Pans National Park is on the site of an old lake and is in an area where some of the first “homo sapiens” (humans) lived. This area is a key stop on the huge annual migration. Visitors can expect to see huge groups of oryx, wildebeests, impalas, zebras, and springboks, as well as elephants and hippos along the riverbank. The river is also a great place to watch birds because it is home to many species, including large groups of flamingos. Besides the usual nature reserve activities, try taking a small chartered plane for the best views of the herds; go quad biking across salt flats and sleep there under the stars, or take a cultural tour to see ancient
